We invite you and your family to join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus this Christmas season. Listed below are events that will be happening at Nebo to celebrate Christmas. We look forward to you joining us as often as you are able.
Friday, November 28
6:00PM Join us as we decorate the church and sanctuary for Advent and the Christmas seasons.
Sunday, November 30 First Sunday of Advent
Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 will include lighting of the Advent wreathe and the beginning of the sermon series on the Animals of the Nativity.
Sunday, December 7 Second Sunday of Advent
Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 will include lighting of the Advent wreathe and the continuation of the sermon series on the Animals of the
Nativity.
Wednesday, December 10
Healing Service in the sanctuary at 6PM. If you or a family member needs prayer for any type of healing, please come and join in the prayer service.
Saturday, December 13
Men’s Prayer Breakfast, 9AM. Come for good food and good fellowship with the men of the church.
Sunday, December 14 Third Sunday of Advent
Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 will include lighting of the Advent wreathe and the continuation of the sermon series on the Animals of the Nativity.
Christmas Family Night Pizza Party, 5:30PM. Enjoy a pizza party to celebrate last year’s winners of the Pennies for Mission contest (the men and boys). Men and boys receive pizza for free, women and girls pay $2.
Puppets of Praise Christmas Program, 6:30PM. The Puppets of Praise will present the Christmas story in a way that is delightful for all ages.
Friday, December 19
Adult Sunday School Christmas Party, 6PM. Members of the adult Sunday School classes meet for their annual Christmas Party. Details about the party will be presented in the Sunday School classes during December.
Saturday, December 20
Ladies Prayer Brunch, 10AM. Come for good food and good fellowship with the women of the church.
Sunday, December 21 Fourth Sunday of Advent
Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 will include lighting of the Advent wreathe and the continuation of the sermon series on the Animals of the Nativity.
Christmas Caroling, 4PM. Join us as we carol through the streets and apartment buildings in Nanticoke.
Wednesday, December 24
The Finale of the Christmas Season is when we come to worship the birth of Jesus by candlelight. Worship and communion services are at 6:30PM and 9:00PM.
