Puppets of Praise

Puppets of Praise (POP) is a ministry that presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ through puppetry, using skits and songs. This group ministers by doing special presentations throughout the year both at Nebo and throughout the area. They have performed at other churches, nursing homes and special events in the Wyoming Valley.

The ministry began in 2005 and over the past eight years has presented a variety of programs which use many different types of special effects, including black lights, video presentations, along with numerous props.  Members of the group attend a yearly training conference in Lancaster to develop skills, get new ideas, and learn from other puppeteers.

POP practices weekly on Sunday evenings from September-June.  The group is open to both adults and youth, ages 12 and older, who have a desire to serve God by ministering through this unique venue.
