Nebo Baptist’s Mission group, Youth With A Mission, will be sending 11 people to Andrea’s Home of Hope and Joy in Guayaramerín, Bolivia August 6 to 17, 2013. Andrea’s Home of Hope and Joy is an orphanage constructed by Love In Action International Ministries.
While in Bolivia, the Nebo team and other teams from across the United States will provide cleaning, painting, construction and medical services to the children in Guayaramerin.
Youth With A Mission’s leader, Brenda May, used scripture to explain why the group is working in an orphanage in Bolivia, “Religion that God our
Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27. Brenda explained more about the team’s focus in Bolivia, “We have all heard the saying that we might be the only Jesus some people ever see, this is our chance to show people the love of Christ through action and deed.”
