Teaching Pastor

Jacob Claypoole was called as Nebo’s first full time youth pastor in August, 2015 and is now transitioning to Teaching Pastor as of January 2023.  Pastor Jake graduated from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit with a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministries and a Mastor’s Degree in Ministry. He served in ministry at Restored Church and the Keystone Mission in Wilkes-Barre before being called to Nebo. He resides in Shavertown with his wife, Lacey and three young children. Volunteer Family Ministries Pastor

Travis O’Boyle has recently joined our team as Nebo’s first part time Pastoral Intern in May, 2022 and is now transitioning into the Full time position of Family Ministries Pastor as of January 2023. Pastor Travis graduated from Luzerne County Community College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He also attended Clark Summit University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Youth Ministries. Although Travis just became a member of the pastoral team, he has been a very active member of Nebo since he was a child being part of our mission’s team, Youth with a Mission, and serving as a youth leader.
